We are pleased to announce the date for this year’s Heritage Award Dinner, which will be held on Wednesday, October 16th at the Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston. We will be honoring Caldwell Homes for their longstanding support and unwavering dedication to the children of Boys and Girls Country. This year’s entertainment will feature the comedy of Frank Caliendo.

The Ballroom at Bayou Place
Each year, A Sheltered Life hosts a gala benefiting Boys and Girls Country and this year’s gala theme is Mardi Gras! The evening will feature a fun cocktail hour where you’ll be wowed by a second line, incredible silent and live auction items that you won’t want to miss out on. There will also be a seated dinner with delectable wine pairings, a presentation by Boys and Girls Country, surprise entertainment and a DJ to dance the night away!

While we had to make the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Spring Festival due to inclement weather, we are grateful for our underwriters and sponsors whose generous donations helped mitigate the financial impact and ensure the safety of our attendees. We deeply appreciate their unwavering support despite these unforeseen challenges, and we are already looking forward to 2025!
