Leadership Development

Mission-driven leadership strengthens the entire organization

Beyond staff training, BGC is also committed to strong, mission-driven leadership. Though he prefers to stay out of the spotlight, CEO Vince Duran completed the prestigious, year-long American Leadership Forum (ALF) program in 2025 and was inducted as a Senior Fellow.

The ALF Fellowship is designed for leaders dedicated to strengthening communities through collaboration, equity, and systems-level impact.

Vince’s participation in this rigorous program expanded his leadership capacity, strengthened regional partnerships, and brought renewed vision and relationship-centered strategies back to Boys and Girls Country.

His achievement reflects not only personal dedication, but also our organization’s ongoing commitment to leadership grounded in service, excellence, and community transformation.

Leadership development at Boys and Girls Country is not about recognition. It is about building the vision, partnerships, and values needed to better serve children and families.
