Vincent Duran joined Boys and Girls Country in May 2017 as the home’s fifth Executive Director. He has 20 years of experience in residential childcare, beginning his career at Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch near Amarillo, Texas. Before coming to Boys and Girls Country, Vince served as the Executive Director of Boles Children’s Home in Quinlan, Texas. Prior to his work in children’s homes, Vince was a youth minister in Houston and Amarillo for eight years.
Vince holds a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies and Master’s Degree in Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University. Vince is a seasoned leader and licensed child care administrator in the state of Texas. “I have spent my entire career working with children and families, and it is an honor to lead and serve the premier children’s home in the Greater Houston area.”
Vince and his wife Ashley have two boys, Connor and Lucas. The Duran family lives on the College and Career Campus and are active members at Christ Family Church in Cypress, Texas.
